With three brand new, beautiful marinas in the area, the future sailing of sailing in this area of Aegean Ocean is far on its way of being perfect.
Alaçatı Çeşme lagoon is an „El Dorado” for windsurfer who take the advantage of the wind coming from the north. The new Marina Port Alaçatı, with its nice restaurants, is a part of an ambitious project to build a lagoon city planned by the French architect of Port Grimaud.  The modern marinas Port Alacati Marina, Cesme Marina and Teos Marina Sigacik, all situated on the Cesme peninsula,  present a network of marinas making sailing in this beautiful area even more attractive. Alaçatı village  (3 km from the harbour) is the perfect in-vougue-venue for the turkish jetset with ist nice galleries, beautiful modernised, greek stone houses, chique boutique hotels and excellent restaurants. Alaçati is an ideal starting point for sailing in direction north in direction Istanbul, f.i. to Foça and Ayvalik and to the greek islands or to the south f.i. to  Teos (Sigacik), Kusadasi and Bodrum and also to the greek islands like Chios, Samos, Lipsi, Leros aund Kalymnos u.v.a.m.
